The Deck Group is searching for a talented and experienced Bar Manager to join our team! We're looking for someone who can:
Overseeing all business aspects, including inventory control, supplier relationships, budget management, and setting strategic goals for the bar's future.
Possessing strong reporting skills to track performance and provide insights.
Demonstrating excellent skills in creating classic and innovative cocktails.
Providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive guest experience.
Building, supporting, and training a high-performing bar team.
Working closely with the Marketing & Events Manager to plan and execute bar events.
Maintaining positive and effective working relationships with the restaurant team.
Cultivating and maintaining a fun and welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Proactive Guest Service Mentality: A genuine passion for providing exceptional guest service and a proactive approach to anticipating guest needs.
In-Depth Wine & F&B Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in wine regions, varietals, food pairings, and beverage service. Formal wine certifications (e.g., WSET) are a plus.
Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues at all levels. A positive and outgoing personality is essential.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle guest requests and concerns with professionalism and resourcefulness, finding effective solutions to any issues that arise.
Understanding of Restaurant Operations: Knowledge of restaurant dynamics, service flow, and the importance of teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a fine dining setting is preferred.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, lift, and carry objects as needed.
