1. Business Intelligence & Analytics Leadership
- Develop and execute the organization's BI strategy and roadmap.
- Establish reporting standards, KPI definitions, calculation methodologies, and report ownership models.
- Create and maintain a centralized and trusted management reporting environment.
- Standardize data models, business metrics, and reporting structures across functions.
- Lead BI initiatives, reporting enhancements, and analytics projects.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of enterprise reporting.
2. Finance & Business Performance Analytics
- Deliver insightful analysis on revenue, sales volume, gross profit, operating expenses, inventory, customer profitability, channel performance, and working capital.
- Lead Actual vs Budget, Actual vs Forecast, and Actual vs Last Year analyses.
- Identify key business drivers, risks, opportunities, and profitability improvements.
- Provide actionable recommendations and performance insights to senior management.
- Support management reviews with meaningful and data-driven business commentary.
3. Data Warehouse & Reporting Governance
- Collaborate with IT teams, ERP consultants, and external partners to design and enhance enterprise data architecture.
- Manage data warehouse, data mart, and reporting layer requirements.
- Oversee data integration, ETL/ELT processes, data reconciliation, and reporting controls.
- Ensure scalable and sustainable reporting solutions that support business growth.
4. Dashboard Development & Self-Service BI
- Lead the design and governance of business dashboards using Power BI and other enterprise BI platforms.
- Develop executive dashboards covering financial performance, sales performance, profitability, supply chain, customer analytics, inventory, and operational KPIs.
- Implement role-based security, report certification standards, and governance controls.
- Promote self-service analytics while maintaining strong data governance practices.
5. Data Governance & Master Data Management
- Establish governance frameworks for Customer, Vendor, Item Master Data, Chart of Accounts, and organizational structures.
- Drive initiatives to improve data quality, eliminate duplication, and standardize data management processes.
- Develop validation rules, exception reporting, and data quality monitoring mechanisms.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, HR, and IT teams to strengthen enterprise data integrity.
6. ERP Transformation & Digital Projects
- Serve as the Finance Data Lead for ERP implementation and transformation initiatives.
- Support business requirement gathering, UAT execution, data migration validation, reporting design, and post-go-live activities.
- Participate in D365 Finance & Operations, AX2012 enhancement projects, Power Platform initiatives, AI programs, and business process automation projects.
- Ensure finance reporting requirements are effectively translated into system design and reporting structures.
7.Team Leadership & Business Partnership
- Lead and develop a team of BI Analysts and Data Analysts.
- Foster a culture of analytics-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Coach business users on dashboard utilization and data interpretation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Define team priorities, performance standards, and delivery expectations.
