1. MAIN MISSIONS :
The Business Solutions & Information Systems (IS) Director plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s operational, technological, and continuous improvement strategy across both transport and warehouse activities. This role ensures that the organization’s systems, processes, and solutions support long-term growth, innovation, and operational excellence. This role ensures seamless coordination throughout the entire customer lifecycle from pre-sales solution design, implementation, and operational ramp-up to ongoing performance optimization. This role ensures that all systems, processes, and methodologies enable safe, efficient, and high-quality logistics operations. By leveraging best practices, digital tools, and data-driven continuous improvement, the role drives operational excellence, cost optimization, and service reliability. Through strong leadership of business solutions, IT, continuous improvement (CI), methods & processes, and solution design teams. The BSSI director ensures scalable, customer-centric solutions that support business growth and long-term profitability
2. DETAIL OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2. A. Strategic Leadership & Governance
● Shape and execute the company’s strategy for digitalization, process excellence, and operational development.
● Develop strategic roadmaps for IS, CI, costing methodologies, and process standardization.
● Ensure alignment between operational needs, customer expectations, and technology investments.
● Provide executive insights to guide decision-making and operational planning.
2. B. Information Systems & Technology Management
● Develop layouts and Business Requirement Documents (BRD) for new implementations in support of Project Management.
● Supervise the design, configuration, improvement and integration of systems for new and ongoing activities, including internal systems (MySCM, Urbantz) as well as external ones (WMS, TMS & OMS by Smartlog)
● Ensure system reliability, cybersecurity, and infrastructure scalability across all sites.
● Lead IT governance, data quality, master data management, and business reporting.
● Manage technology vendors, software contracts, and service-level agreements.
● Promote automation and digital tools supporting safe, efficient operations.
2. C. Solution design & Customer Solutions Support
● Lead the solution design team responsible for pricing, activity-based costing, and solution feasibility assessments.
● Develop and maintain costing models for warehousing, transportation, and value-added services.
● Support sales and commercial teams with accurate, competitive, and sustainable costings for RFQs/RFPs.
● Ensure cost-to-serve visibility and profitability analysis for existing and new customers.
2. D. Project Management & Implementation
● Lead the Project Management Office (PMO) overseeing operational, digital, and customer-implementation projects.
● Define project governance, prioritization frameworks, and resource allocation.
● Ensure successful project delivery (scope, budget, timeline).
● Coordinate cross-functional teams during customer onboarding and operational go-live.
2. E. Methods & Processes Optimization
● Define, standardize, and maintain operating procedures (SOPs) for transport and warehouse operations inline with Group standards and requirements.
● Ensure alignment between system capabilities and operational processes.
● Identify process gaps and inefficiencies across all sites and functions.
● Harmonize processes to improve service consistency and protect operational quality.
● Promote a culture of safe operations through rigorous process design and adherence.
2. F. Continuous Improvement (CI)
● Lead the organization’s CI program using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other industry methodologies.
● Develop CI roadmap and KPIs aligned with customer satisfaction, productivity, and cost targets.
● Conduct structured problem-solving (DMAIC, 5Why, Value Stream Mapping).
● Build CI capability through training, coaching, and structured workshops.
● Deliver measurable improvements across operations, safety, quality, and efficiency.
2. G. Cross-Functional Collaboration
● Work closely with Operations, Sales, HR, and Finance.
● Support commercial teams during pre-sales with costing, solution input, and customer presentations.
● Ensure smooth handover between costing - implementation - operations teams.
● Engage customers during solution validation, project implementation, and continuous improvement phases.

• Lead multidisciplinary teams: Solutions design, IT, Project Management, CI, Methods& Processes.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, performance management, and training.
• Foster a culture of safety, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications:
● Bachelor degree or higher in an engineering field.
● Knowledge in IT & Warehousing & Transport System solutions
● Good English skill in both oral and writing
Experience:
Minium 8-10 Years experience of logistics, solution design
