Core Purpose of the Job: In charge of buying for Sportswear category of our multi-brands - Supersports.

Areas of Responsibility:

1. Business Plan and Delivery of Key KPI’s

  • Formulate Annual Business Plan and Bu Strategy For 2 Or More BU’s
  • Constantly Search for Business Opportunities to Increase Sales and Profitability

2. Cash Margin

  • Detailed Knowledge of BU’s And Key Competitors
  • Manage Bu WSSI

3. Sales and OTB Planning

  • Plan Appropriate Sales and Cash Margin by Department and Range
  • Plan Appropriate Sales and Cash Margin by Store and Region
  • Plan Appropriate Space for Each Department/ Range in Each Store
  • Plan Appropriate OTB And Options by Department/ Range
  • Distribute OTB Correctly Based on Strategy
  • Plan Appropriate E-Commerce Buy

4. Range Detail Planning

  • Management of Core Template to Drive Core Availability
  • Size Cut Strategy by Department
  • Appropriate Good/ Better/ Best Offer
  • Appropriate Key Products and Marketing Product Balance
  • Authoritative Product Statements on Hero Product

5. Product Selection

  • Detailed Preparation for Buying Fairs
  • Confident Product Selection and Range Balancing
  • Spend Control
  • Margin Optimization

6. Trade

  • Weekly Team Meeting and Actions
  • Weekly Store Communication
  • Define and Manage Allocation Blueprint
  • Define and Manage Replenishment Strategy by Type of Product
  • Implement Robust Promotional Calendar
  • Implement Robust Innovations Communication
  • Ensure Opening Price Points Well Executed and Messaged In-Store
  • Effective Markdown Management

7. Market Awareness

  • Conduct Seasonal Competitor Shops
  • Engage in Market Visits and Report on Pricing and Promotional Activity
  • Recommend Key Actions to Remain Price Competitive
  • Report on Missed Opportunities
  • Identify Store Champions Within Team; Manage Feedback / Actions
  • Understand and Engage with Swiftly Changing Market Conditions
  • Driving Transformation to Digital Mindset; Seeking Seamless Journey for Customer Through Product Online and Instore

8. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build Strong Relationships with All Merchandise Colleagues Within CRC Sports
  • Develop Working Partnerships Across Marketing, Store Ops and Digital Teams
  • Build Solid Working Relationships with Thailand Team
  • Leading People
