CHEMICAL QUALITY ENGINEER

The Quality Engineer supports Quality Excellence initiatives by coordinating quality improvement projects, analysing production data, implementing TQM activities, and driving continuous improvement to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

1. Quality improvement project

• Coordinate quality improvement and Right First Time (RFT) projects;
• Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and support the implementation of corrective actions;
• Carry out lab-scale experiments to assess feasibility;
• Monitor trial batches, record result, collect data, docs to confirm production quality;
• Notify relevant departments of the updates and review information to ensure the changes are fully implemented.

2. TQM (Total Quality Management) project

• Develop, review, and maintain Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of all operation;
• Support Production (PRD) supervisors in standardizing operational procedures;
• Prepare training documents & conduct training for related departments if have new updated (workflow, new system,...);
• Follow up on implementation after training and perform internal TQM audit.

3. Other mini projects

• Support other project member if needed (testing example, follow up);
• Continuously improve to enhance product quality as well as the working environment, making PRD operations more efficient.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Education: College degree above in major: Chemical Engineering, Quality Management, Textiles Engineering, or a related field;
• Experience: From 2 years of experience, prefer relevant experience in Textiles and/or Dyeing manufacturing [Fabric];
• Language: Fluent in English, Chinese is a plus;
• Knowledge & Skill: Dyeing/ Finishing knowledge, detail, carefulness, and innovation.
• Coordinate working time, overtime according to production demand.
