I. JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1. Market Research:

• Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities on ecommerce platforms (Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart)
• Perform market research to identify opportunities for new market/category and threats affecting the organization.

2. Consumer Research

• Stay informed about consumers trends and get understanding to their online shopping behaviors to drive the new product development direction.
• Build and develop a consumer panel, conduct surveys with a panel.

3. Research Planning and Design

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define research objectives, then formulate questionnaires and contact agencies.
• Develop comprehensive research plans, including the design of methodologies tailored to project goals.

4. Project Management

• Follow the project progress to manage the quality and deadlines.
• Effectively manage multiple projects at once and anticipate potential problems and how to prevent them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research insights into broader organizational strategies.

5. Moderation & Reporting

• Moderate standard IDI/ extended groups, provide an immediate debrief of findings if required
• Lead and direct debriefing/synthesis of group findings, write fluent and original discussion guides for most projects and effectively use projective techniques.
• Summarizes and analyzes data; makes recommendations related to research findings, delivers consumer insights and actionable recommendations in clear and concise research reports
• Communicate complex research results in a manner accessible to diverse audience

6. Data Analysis

• Conduct rigorous statistical analysis and interpret research findings.
• Utilize statistical tools and software to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data.

7. Quality Assurance

• Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and validity of research data through stringent quality control measures.
• Identify and address any issues that may impact the integrity of the research.

II. REQUIREMENTS

1. Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing,).
• Excellent command of English & Vietnamese. Strategic-oriented.

2. Skills

• Research methodologies/ Consumer insight into common platforms and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under tight deadlines, capable of translating complex findings for a non-technical audience.
• Quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Understanding Consumer and Brand research.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Keenness to learn and be proactive about self- development and the development of others.

3. Experience

• >1 years of work experience in Market research or relevant field.
• Proven experience in research, with expertise in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
• Experience in an ecommerce platform is highly desirable.
