Costing Team Leader cum Asset Accountant

About the Role

The Costing and Fixed Asset Accountant ensures financial accuracy across F&B restaurant operations. You will manage inventory control, analyze margins, and track physical assets across multiple branches.

Key Responsibilities

Costing:

-          Check and reconcile API inventory and COGs from F2 to Accounting Software.

-          Be in charge of F&B COGs (ensure proper calculation and COGs data in accounting software are match with F2).

-          Be in charge of F&B inventory (ensure inventory movement is correctly and inventory ending balance is match with physical count).

-          Conduct F&B inventory checking and compare inventory ending balances between accounting book and physical count then work with operation team to get explanation in case of gap.

-          Monitor, update BOM of dishes, beverages when arise.

-          Prepare report to compare fluctuations of purchasing cost each month.

-          Prepare report of gross margin, COGs of each dish/ each category.

-          Create asset/tool/equipment codes and calculate depreciation, allocation. Double check all these calculations.

-          Create and decentralized access on POS system for operation staffs.

Fixed Asset:

-            Asset Recording: Capitalize new assets (POS, kitchen gear, wine coolers) and leasehold renovations.

-            Depreciation: Calculate monthly depreciation and amortize shop renovation costs.

-            Tagging & Auditing: Tag all equipment and conduct physical asset counts at stores.

-            Transfers & Disposals: Track equipment moving between branches and process broken/sold assets.

-            Maintenance Tracking: Monitor repair costs and warranties for critical equipment (e.g., wine cellars).

-            Reporting: Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and prepare monthly asset reports.

-           Other tasks by CA.

Job requirements

-          Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

-          Good understanding of accounting system.

-          5 years’ experience in the same position.

-          Experience in F&B is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-          Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
