Corporate Sustainability & External Relations Officer (Part-time 9 months) is a position to assist Manager operates the department during Maternity leave, to support AEON Vietnam's long-term goal to become a beloved Corporate Citizen to Vietnam society.
- Team Management Coordinator
- External relations Supporter (Relations Management)
- Sustainability Communications Supporter (Though Leadership pillar)
- Sustainability project Supporter
- Personal growth & team development
1. Team Management Coordinator (25%): Coordinate with Team members & related Stakeholders to ensure the Department operates smoothly during HOD's maternity leave
- Scheduling: organize, manage & remind Proxy (if any) for Company & Department schedule relating to HOD's scope of work: Company meeting, Weekly reporting schedule with GM/BOD & Project Leaders, External meetings with Government Agencies/Partners, Conference, Seminar, and Business Trip participation schedule, …
- Tasking: organize, manage & follow up To-do list relating to HOD's scope in order of priority by day, week, month, and quarter, with tasks from: Sustainability projects function & External Relations function, cross-departmental projects, Board of Directors' requests, external parties: Government agents, Associations, Advisors, ...
- Functional Knowledge Management: Support in data entry, organization, and synthesis of content related to the fields of Sustainable Development & External Affairs, with sources from but not limited to: conferences and seminars, specialized articles, industry-specific courses, …
2. External relations Supporter (Relations Management) (20%): Support main PIC in managing matters in terms of Relations management including:
- Standardizing & managing External Parties databank, including but not limiting to: Government Officers, Business partners, ...
- Implementing Relations tactics such as: gifting, schedule booking, appreciating, ... according to yearly plan & ad-hoc occasions
- Support Deputy Manager/ Manager to develop Leader Voice strategy, with the purpose to define AEON as No.1 Sustainable Retailer in Retail industry
3. Sustainability Communications Supporter (Though Leadership pillar) (10%): Support main PIC in promoting AEON image as Sustainable retailer, both in Company level and Department level. The task includes but not limited to:
- Receiving, analyzing & proposing the Thought Leadership invitation from external parties (Universities, Student club, Associations, ...)
- Preparing & documenting essential material for Though Leadership occasions, both pre & post event (agenda, script, photo, delegation profile, communications material, biography, ...)
- Managing Though Leadership's LinkedIn page of HOD including:
· Participate in brainstorming ideas for regular posts
· Prepare visuals, proofread content, and provide feedback
· Publish posts and prepare reports
4. Sustainability project Supporter (40%): Support main PIC in Sustainability project in planning & executing 2025's assigned project. Assigned projects include:
Support main PIC in Sustainability projects
- Develop AVN DEI strategy for Retail business impact (Society pillar)
- Plastic bag fee charging (Environment pillar)
- Retail Talent Development (Economy pillar)
The task includes but not limited to:
· Researching, analyzing DEI framework in general & for Retail industry
· Researching, benchmarking & summarize DEI initiatives from AEON Japan, Domestic competitors and International/ Global Retailers
· Researching, analyzing & proposing DEI tool/ consulting vendor
· Support in proposal preparation, logistic preparation, event execution (if any), ... during the implementation of the project
· Other task as assigned by project lead
5. Personal growth & team development (5%)

- University degrees in 1 of the following study field: Public Affairs, Government Affairs, Social Sciences, Business or Economics.
- Fresher is welcomed
- Higher Education is not required, but a plus point.
- A functional Certificate relating to any field of Sustainability or Public Affairs is not required, but a plus point.
- Advanced English efficiency
- Intermediate Japanese efficiency is a plus
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, Power point).
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Digital/ AI Literacy
