Data Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst who enjoys working with real business data and turning it into clear, actionable insights.

In this role, you will work closely with IT, business, and operations teams to collect and analyze data, build dashboards, and support the decisions that keep our retail business moving.

This position is ideal for someone who likes solving practical, everyday business problems — someone who is curious about the “why” behind the numbers and enjoys making data easy for non-technical people to understand.

What You Will Do

Collect & Prepare Data

• Gather data from multiple sources (SQL Server, Oracle, BigQuery, Google Analytics, Excel, CSV).
• Clean, transform, and validate datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Analyze Data

• Explore data to identify trends, patterns, and useful business insights.
• Perform quantitative analysis to support decisions across Sales, Merchandising, Finance, and Operations.

Report & Visualize

• Build dashboards and reports in PowerBI/Looker/Metabase(KPI views, drill-down analysis, executive summaries).
• Create clear charts and reports that tell the “story behind the data” so non-technical users can act on it.
• Present findings in a simple, business-friendly way to stakeholders.

Support the Data Warehouse

• Help design, build, and maintain data warehouse tables and models for reporting.
• Write and optimize SQL queries so reports run accurately and efficiently.

Work With the Business

• Partner directly with teams (Sales, Merchandising, Finance, Operations, QC) to understand their questions and turn them into data solutions.
• Track and analyze website and campaign performance through Google Analytics.
• Document your methodology and assumptions so the work is reusable and transparent.

What We’re Looking For

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Strong SQL skills (SQL Server, Oracle, or BigQuery) — including writing and optimizing queries.
• Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports, especially using PowerBI.
• Experience designing or maintaining a Data Warehouse for reporting.
• Experience working with real business data (not only academic or training datasets).
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain data to non-technical colleagues.

Nice to Have

• Experience in E-commerce, Retail, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Finance.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and web/marketing performance data.
• Basic knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for data processing.
• Understanding of statistics or basic machine learning concepts.
• Experience with Google BigQuery, GCP, or other cloud-based data platforms.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Metabase, Looker Studio, or dbt / other data transformation tools.
• Long-term career orientation and a desire to grow into more advanced data roles.
