Deputy Legal Manager – Safeguard & Drive Business Compliance

Key Responsibilities
Licensing & Government Relations
• Manage and obtain company licenses (Investment Certificate, Business License, Education Operation License).
• Build and maintain relationships with government authorities (DPI, DOET, Department of Transport, Construction, Police, People’s Committee).
• Represent the company in regulatory meetings and ensure compliance.
Contract & Compliance Oversight
• Review, draft, and manage contracts and legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory procedures, and inspections.
• Guide centers in legal regulations and risk mitigation.
Legal Advisory & Risk Management
• Provide legal counsel on corporate, operational, and regulatory matters.
• Handle customer negotiations and dispute resolutions.
Trademark & Labor Union Management
• Oversee trademark applications, renewals, and intellectual property protection.
• Manage labor union activities and ensure labor law compliance.
Regulatory Reporting & Documentation
• Ensure timely submission of reports to authorities.
• Maintain and manage legal records.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (Master of Laws (LL.M) or Lawyer Practicing Certificate is a plus).
• 5-7 years of legal experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
• Expertise in corporate, investment, education, commercial, labor, IP, and tax law.
• Legal English proficiency and experience in foreign investment & education sectors are advantages.
• Familiarity with Legal Tech & digital legal solutions is a plus.
