JOB PURPOSE

Develop and expand the Ecocycle Waste Management business by marketing, capturing new contracts, maintaining existing customers, and conducting continuous market analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Expansion & Intelligence:

• Search and collect detailed daily data on industry market status, prospects, competitors, market prices, and portfolios.

• Manage the waste market data and expand the potential customer list based on industry allocation.

• Plan priorities based on waste volume and customer nationalities.

• Identify new project opportunities by studying new investments through media and networks.

• Investigate customer information regarding values, policies, commitments, production, and sales volume to provide input for Market Intelligence.

• Update the database of clients and significant market information.

Direct Marketing & Solution Consulting:

• Set up and facilitate meetings with potential customers.

• Study customer requirements and conduct waste sampling for technical testing and analysis.

• Follow up on testing results and coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive waste management solutions.

• Present solutions to existing and potential customers.

Contracting & Execution:

• Follow the defined selling process, negotiate terms, and close agreements.

• Provide sufficient and accurate information to the Sales Admin for drafting proposals and contracts.

• Assess customer satisfaction levels.

• Coordinate with Customer Service and cross-functional teams to execute signed contracts and collect debts.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

Education & Experience:

  • University graduated.
  • 2.5 to 3 years of relevant working experience.

Core Competencies & Skills:

  • Professional B2B Selling skills.
  • Analysis and problem-solving.Customer focus.
  • Ability to manage execution and lead for performance.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships, network, and establish trust and confidence.
  • Communication skills, capability to engage/inspire, and proactive support for change and innovation.

Preferable Industry Knowledge:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the waste management market and services.
  • Knowledge of current regulations on waste.
  • Basics of cement manufacturing and clinker production.
  • Understanding of Co-processing, Alternative Fuels and Raw Materials (AFR) utilization, and the Waste-to-AFR value chain.
  • Knowledge of waste hierarchy, waste types, and acceptance criteria.
  • Awareness of Environment and OH&S aspects in B2B sales.
  • Understanding of company sales/marketing strategies, waste pre-qualification procedures, and requirements in contracting waste disposal and transportation suppliers.

MAJOR CHALLENGES

  • Navigating complex legal regulations and compliance risks inherent in the waste management business.
  • Handling technical issues that require integrated knowledge spanning the cement industry, waste management, commerce, and legal compliance.
  • Addressing varying levels of customer awareness regarding the costs associated with different waste solutions, such as recycling, landfill, and incineration.
