As an EHS Officer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the organization's compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards embed safety into XP’s culture / behaviors. You will work closely with employees, management, Global EHS and regulatory bodies to develop, implement, and monitor effective EHS policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
1. EHS Compliance, Policy and Procedure Development:
Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal regulations related to environmental, health, and safety. Ensure the organization's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential EHS risks and non-compliance issues.
Establish, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines. Communicate with cross functions & employees on EHS policies, procedures, and regulations.
Review and update policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulations or organizational needs.
2. Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification :
Conduct annual risk assessments and hazard identification or in case of change for all the processes across the organization & develop strategies to mitigate and control risks.
Collaborate with relevant departments to implement effective controls and preventive measures
3. Emergency Preparedness:
Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
Conduct emergency drills and exercises to test emergency response capabilities.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure readiness for potential emergencies
4. Incident Management:
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.
Maintain incident reporting systems and documentation. Track and analyze incident data to identify trends and implement preventive measures.
5. Training and Education:
Establish EHS training plan & conduct annual & refreshing training as planned for employees and contractors.
Provide ongoing EHS training and education to enhance awareness and knowledge.
Oversee & improving process of chemical safety management activities such as PPE matrix management, training, monitoring & SDS availability.
6. EHS Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Establish, consolidate and coordinate with relevant departments to lead the 5S improvement program of the factory according to the guidelines from Global.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor EHS/ESG/Net Zero performance.
Collect and analyze data to evaluate EHS performance and identify areas for improvement.
Provide First Aid Response for medical emergencies including injuries, chemical exposures, and fainting incidents
Prepare and submit relating reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.
7. Waste Management
Optimize waste management process ( industrial waste, domestic waste, hazardous waste & waste water,…) to identify cost-saving opportunities
Conduct training sessions to employees on the best practices for waste reduction and recycling.
Develop and implement waste minimization strategies
8. Continuous Improvement:
Continuously assess and improve EHS management systems and processes.
Implement best practices and industry standards to enhance EHS performance.
Stay informed about new developments and advancements in EHS practices.
Cordination with customer audit & ISO 14001, 9001, 13485 audit from 3rd party. Establish & implement corrective action plan for all the EHS findings from the audits
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Good at English communication.
Must be able to work within a team structure and work collaboratively to implement safety programs.
Proactive & Good at problem solving skills
At least 5-6 years of experiences as EHS Engineer/Officer/ Supervisor in a manufacturing company ( Electronic is preferred).
Experiences, skills and knowledge in machine safety, electrical safety, LOTO, chemical safety, lifting safety, contractor management
In-depth knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.
Familiarity with industry-specific EHS requirements and best practices.
Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and hazard identification techniques.
Excellent knowledge of incident investigation and root cause analysis.
Experience in developing and delivering EHS training programs.
Proficient in analyzing data and preparing reports.
Professional certifications in EHS (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are desirable.
