PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Implement safety, health, and environmental activities to ensure safe production operations and compliance with legal and company requirements.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conduct daily patrols to monitor compliance with occupational safety and health, fire safety, environmental, and 7S requirements.
2. Identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, recommend and track corrective actions for non-conformities.
3. Manage the procurement and issuance of personal protective equipment (PPE), and monitor its effective use.
4. Manage waste and arrange its handover to waste treatment contractors.
5. Prepare periodic reports, manage EHS documentation and records, and coordinate required statutory and regulatory compliance activities.
6. Monitor and supervise the safety performance of contractors, visitors, and construction activities within the factory.
7. Participate in occupational accident, incident, and near-miss investigations; prepare reports and monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
8. Perform other tasks as assigned by the EHS Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Chemistry, or other relevant engineering fields.
2. Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
3. Others:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively influence and persuade others.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- In-depth knowledge of occupational safety and health (OSH), environmental, fire safety regulations and legal requirements.
- Strong problem-solving, risk assessment, and decision-making skills.
- Good observation, reporting, and follow-up skills.
- Good teamwork and coordination skills, with a proactive and responsible attitude.
