English Teacher (Expats Only)

Key Purpose of the Job:

Local Teachers play a crucial role in this mission by conducting engaging classes, offering continuous support, and motivating learners to achieve their goals.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

1. Class Delivery

• Plan and deliver a variety of high-quality classes in accordance with the principles of the Wall Street English Method.
• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures as directed by the Academic Manager and Academic Trainer.
• Plan and conduct in-center or online classes based on the schedule assigned by the Center Service Manager, aligned with student needs.
• Design engaging lesson content focused on developing fluency, confidence, cultural understanding, and essential business and life skills.
• Research student study progress and habits before classes to personalize learning experiences.
• Ensure all lessons meet curriculum objectives, supporting successful student outcomes.

2. Student Engagement & Center Contribution

• Collaborate with Customer Services Team to reinforce effective study habits and adherence to the Wall Street English Method.
• Actively engage with students outside of the classroom to foster a vibrant learning community and immersive English-speaking environment.
• Plan and facilitate Social Clubs and Events as requested by the Center Service Manager to enrich the student experience.

3. Brand Ambassador

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Wall Street English Method and embody its principles.
• Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the Wall Street English philosophy and commitment to continuous learning.
• Uphold the professional image of both the center and the Wall Street English brand through appropriate attire, behavior, and communication with students and colleagues.

Minimum Relevant Experience:

• 1-2 Years of ESL teaching experience preferred

Minimum Academic Requirement:

• University Degree

Required Professional Qualification:

• 120-hour classroom-based teaching certification (eg. CELTA/TEFL/TESOL)

Required Competencies:

• Native English speaker
• Passport holder from New Zealand, USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland or South Africa
