Facilities Engineer

As a Facilities Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, stable, and reliable operation of facility equipment and utility systems within our manufacturing plant. This hands-on position supports commissioning, plant ramp-up, and ongoing operations while driving equipment reliability, preventive maintenance excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize operational performance and production uptime

Role Responsibilities:

·         Execute daily maintenance activities for facility and utility systems to ensure smooth operations.

·         Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.

·         Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) standards and guidelines for facility and utility equipment.

·         Monitor equipment condition, identify potential issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

·         Conduct root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures and drive reliability improvements.

·         Manage and execute projects to enhance equipment performance, safety, and energy efficiency.

·         Monitor and optimize factory energy consumption.

·         Support equipment installation, commissioning, trial runs, and handover activities.

·         Ensure maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and procedures.

·         Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to support operational requirements and maintain equipment stability.

·         Utilize data-driven approaches to track maintenance performance and drive continuous improvement.

·         Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

·         Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

·         Experience with facility and utility systems, particularly high-pressure nitrogen systems, cooling water systems, chillers, and wastewater treatment systems.

·         Strong knowledge of mechanical and high-pressure systems.

·         Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability.

·         Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.

·         Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

·         Good English communication skills are preferred.

·         Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively on the shop floor
