Field Application Engineer

Position Summary

• Anritsu Vietnam, a global leader in test and measurement solutions with over 130 years of history, is seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support sales activities by providing technical expertise in RF and wireless technologies.
• This role spans the entire customer lifecycle—from pre-sales solution design and technical engagement to delivery, acceptance, and post-sales support—ensuring the successful deployment and continuous optimization of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support technical activities for marketing events, customer engagement, and partner enablement
• Assist in gathering and analyzing customer requirements and technical information to support opportunity qualification
• Deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concept (PoC), and technical presentations
• Develop technical proposals, including system configuration, BoQ, and RFP responses
• Collaborate with internal teams, factories, and third-party partners to ensure optimal solutions
• Support technical validation, configuration alignment, and deal execution
• Assist with system delivery, implementation, and acceptance testing
• Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting after delivery
• Contribute to continuous improvement through customer feedback and technical insights

Qualifications & Requirements

Required

• Bachelor’s degree or Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
• 1-3+ Years of Engineer experience in Telecommunication or equivalent industry
• Basic knowledge of RF fundamentals (spectrum, modulation, propagation, etc.)
• Understanding of wireless communication systems (LTE/5G is a plus)
• Experience with RF measurement or wireless communication systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills and willingness to work directly with customers
• Proactive learning attitude and ability to quickly acquire new technical knowledge
• Business-level proficiency in English (reading documents, communicating internally and with vendors)

Preferred

• Hand-on experience with RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzer, signal generator, network analyzer)
• Experience with protocol testing or wireless testers (e.g., call box, UE simulator) is a plus
• Experience in 5G / LTE / wireless technologies
• Experience supporting customers or working in technical support / field application roles
• Interest or experience in pre-sales, demo, or customer-facing roles

Working Hours

• 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday
• Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and public holidays are off

Salary

• Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications
