Hull & Outfitting Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Design and Support:

Make engineering drawings, design, and perform design analysis.

Verify designs and drawings for compliance with standards, specifications, and Class rules.

Technically conduct and support production as relevant.

Documentation Management:

Manage drawings, record, provide feedback on, and follow up on all relevant production documentation as assigned.

Quality Assurance:

Oversee the internal QA process, material take-offs, and weight attributes.

Standards Compliance:

Comply with national laws, regulations, and international standards, including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001/OSHAS18001, SA8000, or any updated and valid standards on management systems, as well as Company regulations.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine, or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

Have knowledge and experience in hull and steel outfitting.

Experience in shipyards or heavy industries (e.g., power plants, refineries).

Experience in cost-oriented design.

Experience in production support-oriented design (considering the workability of the design).

Skills & Competencies:

Fluent in written and spoken English and Vietnamese.

Strong team mindset, teamwork skills, and understanding of standardization activities.
