Responsibilities
1. Custom clearance
• Follow shipping schedule from Purchasing/Others to Prepare customs & Quarantine documentation and ensure that shipments meet all applicable laws to facilitate the import/export of goods.
• Coordinate with suppliers, forwarders, others to properly adjust import/export documents such as invoice, packing list, contract, valid charges, certificate of origin, health certificate, phytosanitary, etc...
• Follow up the shipments and settle issues arising under responsibility
• Monitor vessels/aircraft schedules, continuously update relevant departments, discuss and process appropriate action plans.
• Monitor the status of declarations, tax/fee debts, coordinate with accountants and service parties for quick processing.
• Monitor container deposit, local charge fees and shipment-related fees, ensuring fees are paid and refunded in full and on time.
• Cooperate with related departments to control & solve issues arising about shipping schedule.
• Inform the status of the shipment and date arrival to warehouse
• Prepare the list of production date and expiry date to Customs and Quarantine department each shipment
• Follow up and report the sample taken by Quarantine agency and Customs at warehouse, port & airport then inform warehouse to take back sample
• Follow all sanitary certificates from Quarantine department
• Follow sanitary certificate of animal products to pass to warehouse
• Update/Save the import/export documents of each shipment on server.
• Meeting and dealing with customs if any prices declared need to be re-checked before/after custom clearance.
2. Import/export permits:
Periodic check deadline and prepare documents to ask license of processed animal products; Fresh and Frozen Meat; seafood; etc. every 03 months and when necessary.
3. Import/ export laws:
• Check any sources to get the new or update regulation on foods importation/exportation + license + requirement from government.
• Update and inform new regulation on importation/ exportation if have any changes.
• Contact related embassies/ consulates for any troubles of new import/export law
• Check necessary import/export procedures and documents according to regulations, HS codes and tax rates for new items as requested by superiors and other departments.
• Make recommendations to management concerning staffs and improvement of procedures.
• Perform all other tasks as requested
4. Admin:
Support when necessary, will be discussed during interview, such as:
