THE ROLE:
As an International Buyer/Negotiator (Home Textiles/Garment) at Ozeol, you will lead international negotiations with suppliers, primarily in Asia, to secure the best overstock deals for resale in the EU. You’ll act as a front-line dealmaker, unlocking cnmmercial opportunities and maximizing resale value through direct supplier negotiations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Negotiation & Strategy
- Build and execute negotiation strategies based on market trends and company objectives
- Lead negotiations with international suppliers to obtain the most favorable terms
- Ensure contracts meet financial, legal, and operational standards
Market & Supplier Analysis
- Analyze product trends in the French market and prepare briefs for your assigned Prospector(s)
- Monitor supplier performance: product quality, lead time, reliability
- Track and optimize buying performance using data
Collaboration & Business Development
- Work closely with your assigned Prospector(s) on a daily basis
- Provide clear business briefs and conduct formal debriefs on each opportunity
- Handle end-to-end negotiation: sending offers, tracking performance, validating deals
- Collaborate with internal departments: Supply Chain, Quality Control, Logistics
Operational & Trade Fair Participation
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
- Track the purchasing process from order to delivery
- Represent Ozeol at international trade fairs when required
