Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and business-oriented professional to support the GM in strengthening legal compliance, internal control, operational risk management, and process optimization within our factory in Vietnam. This role is not designed as a purely supervisory or administrative legal position. The successful candidate is expected to work closely with operational teams, identify practical risks, provide commercially feasible solutions, and support the establishment of sustainable management systems aligned with both Vietnam regulations and operational realities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Internal Control & Operational Risk Management
• Establish and continuously improve internal control systems and operational procedures.
• Conduct audits across procurement, warehouse, production, administration, engineering, and related functions.
• Identify management loopholes, abnormal consumption, inefficiencies, and compliance risks.
• Follow up corrective actions and ensure implementation across departments.
• Support strengthening operational discipline and accountability.
2. Procurement & Inventory Audit
• Review the reasonableness and necessity of departmental purchase requests.
• Audit procurement, inventory, issuance, and consumption of materials, consumables, spare parts, and miscellaneous items.
• Identify duplicate purchases, excessive inventory, waste, and process weaknesses.
• Recommend practical control measures and process improvements.
3. Contract & Legal Risk Management
• Review supplier agreements, procurement contracts, service contracts, engineering contracts, and investment-related agreements.
• Identify legal, commercial, operational, and financial risks.
• Provide practical revision recommendations balancing compliance and operational needs.
• Maintain contract records and support contract administration processes.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel when required.
4. Vietnam Legal Compliance Management
• Monitor updates in Vietnam labor law, investment law, tax regulations, environmental regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
• Translate regulatory requirements into internal policies, SOPs, and operational controls.
• Support implementation of compliance practices across factory operations.
• Liaise with local authorities and external agencies when necessary.
5. Infrastructure & Project Risk Control
• Review contracts related to factory construction, renovation, equipment investment, and engineering projects.
• Assess risks related to payment terms, delivery, acceptance standards, and liabilities.
• Protect company interests and minimize future disputes.
6. Supplier Dispute & Incident Resolution
• Lead coordination and resolution of supplier disputes, delivery issues, quality claims, and contractual disagreements.
• Work with internal departments to develop commercially practical solutions.
• Ensure business continuity while protecting company interests.
7. Management Support
• Support the GM in operational improvement initiatives.
• Provide risk analysis and operational recommendations.
• Promote cross-functional coordination and process optimization.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above. Preferred majors: Law, Business Administration, Audit, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in legal affairs, internal control, audit, compliance, or operations management within manufacturing industries.
• Experience in manufacturing, export manufacturing, or factory operations is preferred.
• Experience in procurement control or supply chain management is an advantage.

Language Requirements
