Legal Specialist (Operations)

Primary Objective

• Provide legal advice and execute legal procedures to ensure that the manufacturing and business operations of the assigned member companies under the Operations Legal Division comply with applicable laws and internal policies issued by the Group.
• Promote legal awareness, foster a culture of compliance within the Company, and support the operations of all departments

Authority

1. Proactively propose work plans and coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to accomplish assigned tasks.
2. Represent the assigned company in meetings and working sessions with government authorities and external partners related to assigned responsibilities.
3. Participate in professional training programs to enhance legal expertise.
4. Recommend improvements to legal processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
5. Proactively coordinate with member companies to establish and maintain relationships with competent local government authorities within the assigned scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to the Management Board and functional departments of assigned member companies on legal matters related to manufacturing and business operations.
• Collaborate with the Group's functional departments and support member companies in resolving legal issues as they arise.
• Participate in company projects involving digital transformation, legal process improvement, and risk management.
• Identify, assess, and manage legal risks arising from the manufacturing and business activities of assigned member companies through appropriate legal measures.
• Perform corporate governance and statutory compliance work for Joint Stock Companies (JSCs) and Limited Liability Companies (LLCs) as assigned by the Head of Department.
• Monitor and analyze newly issued laws and regulations, assess their implications, and communicate relevant updates and implementation recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with relevant local government authorities within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Provide additional legal support and perform other legal assignments as directed by the Head of Department.
• Maintain positive relationships with government authorities and external legal advisors to ensure timely awareness of regulatory developments.
• Ensure legal compliance during inspections, audits, and reviews conducted by competent government authorities.
• Carry out other duties assigned by management as required.

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree or above in Law.
• Lawyer practicing certificate is preferred.
• 3–5 years of legal and compliance experience in manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal departments and government authorities.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Strong analytical, synthesis, and advisory skills.
