Maintenance Supervisor

1. Electromechanical Maintenance Management
• Develop and implement the Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule for all machinery and production lines.
• Ensure PM activities are executed on schedule and meet quality standards.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and machine downtime rates.
• Manage maintenance records via ERP/SAP or CMMS systems.
• Propose improvements to enhance equipment stability and lifespan.
2. Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
• Directly participate in resolving critical electromechanical breakdowns.
• Lead the maintenance team during emergency situations.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA) to eliminate recurring faults.
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers to resolve complex technical issues.
3. Maintenance Team Management
• Assign tasks, supervise, and evaluate technician performance.
• Train, coach, and develop the electromechanical team.
• Build a multi-skilled team proficient in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Make recommendations regarding recruitment, rewards, and succession planning.
4. Electrical and Mechanical System Management
Electrical
• Manage industrial electrical systems, control panels, VFDs, motors, servos, and PLC/HMI systems.
• Oversee power distribution and control systems.
• Monitor power quality and propose energy-saving solutions.
• Coordinate the resolution of issues related to PLC, SCADA, and automation systems.
Mechanical
• Manage drive systems, gearboxes, conveyors, shafts, bearings, belts, and chains. • Diagnose, analyze, and resolve mechanical issues with production machinery.
• Implement predictive maintenance activities for mechanical equipment.
5. Spare parts and maintenance cost management
• Manage spare parts inventory.
• Propose the procurement of spare parts, materials, and maintenance services.
• Control maintenance costs within the approved budget.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels for critical materials.
6. System improvement and development
• Participate in projects for machinery improvement, upgrades, and automation.
• Implement TPM, Autonomous Maintenance, and Lean Maintenance.
• Apply predictive maintenance tools such as:
o Vibration Analysis
o Thermal Imaging
o Motor Current Signature Analysis
• Propose Kaizen initiatives to reduce downtime and increase equipment efficiency.
7. Safety and compliance
• Ensure strict compliance with electrical and mechanical safety regulations.
• Implement and oversee Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Manage Hot Work, Confined Space entry, and other high-risk tasks.
• Proactively halt equipment operation if safety hazards are detected.
• Ensure no workplace accidents occur during maintenance activities.

Education
• College or University degree in:
o Mechanical Engineering
o Mechatronics
o Electrical/Electronic Engineering
o Automation
• Preference given to graduates from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) or University of Technical Education.
Experience
• Minimum 5 years of electromechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 1–2 years of experience managing a team of 5 or more personnel.
• Experience managing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Breakdown Maintenance.
• Preference given to candidates with experience working with:
o Extruders
o Twisting and stranding machines
o Continuous production lines
o FMCG, textile, polymer, plastic, packaging, or industrial manufacturing plants.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
Electrical
• Proficiency in industrial electrical systems.
• Solid understanding of:
o PLC/HMI
o SCADA
o Servo systems
o Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
o AC/DC motors
o Instrumentation & Sensors
Mechanical
• Knowledge of mechanical drive systems.
• Ability to read and analyze mechanical drawings.
• Thorough understanding of industrial equipment operating principles.
