Marcel Group - a strategic partner of Openasia in F&B industry - is looking for a General Manager.
Marcel Group operates restaurants and bars throughout Vietnam, featuring its two primary brands: Marcel Gourmet Burger and Café Marcel.
As the General Manager, your role involves steering the company's growth trajectory and making pivotal decisions crucial to its success. You serve as the primary liaison between the board of directors and daily company operations, providing transparent insights into the company's performance and future direction. Your responsibilities include devising strategic growth plans, assessing outcomes, and upholding and enhancing company standards and culture.
Your Objectives:
Control the cost and improve the consistency in food quality / operation.
Improve daily seat turnover through extensive sales & marketing activities and new outlet expansion.
Bring a fresh new brand identity and image of Marcel to targeted young local customers.
Evaluating the results of the organization.
Your Duties & Responsibilities as follows:
1. Business strategy/Planning & Budgeting (20%):
Develops brand strategy in line with the business objectives.
Setting a budget; Preparing annual operating plans, setting up long term & short-term goals for the company as per the directions set by Board of Directors.
Reviews reports, making presentations to stakeholders, and examining how the business can optimize expenses.
2. Sales and Marketing (40%)
Responsible for sales and service outlets of the business in Gourmet Burger concept and Cafe concept.
Setting goals and objectives for sale & marketing, oversee the implementation and monitor performance marketing.
Representing the organization in media & other public events.
Creating, communicating, and implementing the organization's vision, mission, and overall direction.
3. Operation (40%):
Managing multiple outlets operations with frequent personal visits.
Manage and trains FOH team.
Aligns the production planning and service quality with the business objectives; takes corrective actions.
Reviews how departments work together to achieve the company objectives, identifies gaps and facilitates to resolve them.

Building a work culture, hiring & leading a team of senior managers.
Manage and trains FOH team.
Oversees the organization & managers operations in compliance with the law & regulations.
Stay informed about the current trends related to product & services offered by the organization.
Giving directions to the employees so that company vision can be fulfill.
Other related tasks /assignments requested by Chairman/Investor.
