Merchandising Specialist (Luggage & Bag)

- Transform design from tech pack stage to final, approved product using knowledge of vendor resources, materials characteristics, and product functionality.

- Manage tech pack hand off from designer/ customer to tech team/ factory, ensuring all deliverables are complete and accurate.

- Partner with Design team/ factory to work with the factories on the technical and construction needs.

- Monitor and track all samples.

- Translate critical features in working designs and tech packs for suppliers. Review and negotiate specific details during the sampling process related to design specifications.

- Daily interaction with vendors and suppliers.

- Track development through internal WIPs and lead the communication on calendar timing, materials, sample schedule and risk avoidance to all stakeholders.

- Manage, coordinate, and maintain fabric, trim, and sample library.

- Maintain product development schedule/calendar ensuring all milestone and timelines are met.

- Responsible for product from initial hand-off stage to sign-off stage.

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Product Development team.

- Manage material sourcing and factory sourcing.

- Coordinate with relevant team to generate costing/ quotation to the buyers.

- Bachelor of Garment Technology or related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in luggages & bags merchandising.

- Strong knowledge of sourcing/ costing/ sample development.

- Strong English communication skills, Chinesse language skills are a plus.
