1. Market Research & Product Concept Development
· Monitor and analyze pharmaceutical market trends, product launches, and consumer/HCP (healthcare professional) behavior across pharmacies, hospitals, and e-commerce platforms.
· Analyze competitor products (OTC, food supplements, Derma cosmetics), customer reviews, and feedback from pharmacists/doctors/customers to extract actionable insights.
· Translate insights into product concepts, including target indication, key benefits, positioning, and product development briefs.
· Ensure that all product concepts and claims strictly comply with pharmaceutical regulations (not freely developed as in FMCG).
2. Product Development & OEM/ODM Coordination
· Collaborate with R&D/BD in Thailand, QM/Regulatory/factory teams, or OEM/ODM partners to develop formulations, dosage forms, and product specifications.
· Review, evaluate, and refine product samples through multiple development stages (pilot, scale-up) to meet quality, efficacy, and stability requirements.
· Lead in product evaluation processes, including internal testing or user acceptance where applicable.
· Coordinate cross-functionally to balance product performance, cost, manufacturability, and timeline.
· Contribute to packaging development in compliance with pharmaceutical regulations (labeling, mandatory information, instructions for use).
· Work closely with Management team, factory, BD team, QM, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams throughout the development process.
3. Regulatory & Product Registration
· Coordinate with the Regulatory Affairs (RA) team to prepare and complete product registration dossiers (e.g., product declaration, technical documents for drugs or dietary supplements).
· Ensure all product-related materials (claims, labeling, packaging, communication content) are fully compliant with local pharmaceutical regulations.
· Track registration timelines and proactively support dossier updates or responses to authorities.
· Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact on product development and lifecycle.
4. Post-launch Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
· Support product launch with MKT team by coordinating with cross-functional teams.
· Monitor product performance through sales data, feedback from pharmacies/HCPs, and customer insights.
· Propose product improvements, reformulation, or lifecycle management plans based on performance data and regulatory updates.
5. Responsible for developing new products as well as renovating, reformulating, or relaunching existing products to better align with evolving consumer/customer insights and market needs.
