The Procurement Executive (purchasing) is a person who oversees and manages the procurement process of an organization. They are responsible for seeking, selecting, and contracting with suppliers and vendors that provide the best quality and value for the organization’s needs. They also monitor and evaluate the performance of suppliers and vendors and ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations
B/ ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Purchasing Management:
Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including issuing purchase orders, receiving goods and services, processing invoices, and resolving payment issues.
Ensure timely and accurate procurement activities.
Understand technical drawing and raw materials to outsource and purchase materials to the right suppliers.
Record Keeping:
Maintain and update records related to procurement, including contracts, purchase orders, deliveries, payments, and supplier performance evaluations.
Ensure data accuracy and accessibility for auditing and reporting purposes.
Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors to align with organizational requirements and expectations.
Secure favorable terms and conditions.
Supplier Relationships:
Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Address and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the procurement process.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, standards, as well as local and international laws and regulations.
Stay updated on relevant procurement regulations and standards.
Team Supervision and Development:
Supervise, train, and mentor procurement staff.
Evaluate team performance and provide guidance for improvement.
Reporting:
Generate reports on procurement activities, results, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Present reports to senior management and stakeholders as needed.

1. Education
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Mechatronic Engineering
2. Experience & qualifications
· 1-2 years’ experience in technical purchase.
· Worked in ERP environment before.
· Preferably with supplier qualification & development experience and cost reduction experience.
. Can read Mechanical drawings
3. Skills and Abilities
· Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
· Proficient with Microsoft Excel
· Problem solving skills
· Able to work with different specialists
