We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Production Engineer to support product development and tooling validation activities at the Development Testing Center (DTC). This role is responsible for executing and optimizing injection molding testing operations, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and ensuring all testing processes meet technical standards, quality requirements, and continuous improvement objectives. The Production Engineer will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, supporting innovation, and contributing to the successful validation of new tooling and production methods.
- Support the DTC Supervisor in managing daily operations of the Development Testing Center.
- Train DTC members on injection molding machine operation, testing procedures, and safety requirements.
- Guide operators, technicians, and workers to follow standard processes, SOPs, and IDS, and provide improvement suggestions.
- Observe actual machine operation and process flow to identify issues, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Propose solutions, technical improvements, or innovations to enhance quality, efficiency, and stability.
- Coordinate with Mold Shop, Development, and Production teams to improve tooling and testing processes.
- Evaluate new tooling and development projects; track progress and update status to relevant departments.
- Identify and analyze issues related to molds, tooling, and injection parts during testing phases.
- Monitor mold testing results and follow up on mold status, corrective actions, and improvement plans.
- Check abnormal defects found during testing and ensure proper root cause analysis and countermeasures.
- Review mold testing reports and sample parts; support preparation of technical reports in English.
- Improve efficiency of sample team and machines, focusing on: APQ improvement; Material usage optimization; Operator movement reduction; Automation opportunities
- Regularly check and verify machine settings, parameters, and running conditions.
- Ensure testing activities comply with quality, safety, and DTC standards.
- Prepare and manage technical documentation, including: SOPs; Quality matrix; Work instructions and manuals; Packing methods; SWB and product history
- Arrange and coordinate testing schedules and new development projects with the team.
- Report daily and weekly testing activities, issues, and progress to the Sample Team Manager / DTC Manager.
- Perform additional technical or development‑related tasks as assigned by management.
* Working time: Monday - Friday: 8:00 - 16:30, Saturday: 8:00 - 12:00 & 1 Saturday off per month
* Shuttle bus provided from Ho Chi Minh (Hang Xanh - Thu Duc)/ Dong Nai (Bien Hoa) to Long Thanh Industrial Zone
