We are now looking for a position working in HCMC office as follows:

Position: Purchasing Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Send inquiries to suppliers and follow up on quotations.
• Issue and update Purchase Orders (POs) in the ERP system.
• Coordinate PO approvals with the head office in Germany and issue approved POs to suppliers.
• Follow up on artwork development and approvals with suppliers and the design team/ Client.
• Monitor production schedules and shipment plans.
• Coordinate inspection arrangements with suppliers and the QA department.
• Track and update shipment status for weekly reporting.
• Support the QA department in handling claims and quality-related issues.
• Assist with product inspections and prepare inspection reports when required.
• Coordinate sample preparation and shipment to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support logistics and documentation activities related to shipments.
• Perform other procurement and supply chain tasks as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (International business, Business administration, Supply Chain Management, etc).
• Good command of English (Oral & Written).
• Proficient in MS Office computer skills (Especially Excel).
• Experience in procurement/purchasing in the Food or FMCG industry is preferred. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work independently and in a team under high pressure.
• Attention to detail, strong sense of logic, analytical skill, and critical thinking.
