To be fully responsible for the establishment, execution, and continuous improvement of the company's quality management system for knitted products in the fashion industry (specifically shoe uppers and bags). The candidate must possess a deep understanding of knitting processes, a keen insight into fashion trends, and the ability to integrate quality standards with market demands and customer expectations, ensuring excellence in every stage from design to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Management System (QMS) Establishment and Maintenance:
o Establish, refine, and effectively implement the company's overall quality management system (e.g., ISO 9001 or industry-specific standards), ensuring alignment with company strategic goals, market requirements, and customer expectations.
o Develop, update, and oversee the execution of product quality standards, inspection procedures, testing methods, and operational guidelines.
o Periodically evaluate the effectiveness of the quality management system, identify improvement opportunities, and drive implementation.
2. Knitted Product Process Quality Control:
o Deeply understand the production processes for knitted shoe uppers and bags (including, but not limited to, yarn selection, knitting techniques, post-finishing, sewing), and identify critical quality control points.
o Supervise and guide quality inspections during the knitting production process, ensuring the quality of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products meets design requirements and standards.
o Collaborate closely with production and technical teams to analyze and resolve quality issues in knitting production, and drive process optimization to improve yield and product consistency.
3. Integrating Fashion Products with Quality and Trends:
o Incorporate the latest fashion industry trends, colors, materials, and design concepts into quality standards and evaluation systems, ensuring products meet functional and durability requirements while possessing market-attracting fashion appeal.
o Work closely with design, product development, and marketing teams to understand product positioning and target customer segments, integrating these factors into quality strategy development.
o Monitor market feedback and consumer perceptions regarding product fashionability, comfort, and durability, translating them into drivers for quality improvement.
4. Quality Inspection, Testing, and Supplier Management:
o Establish and manage comprehensive quality inspection processes covering raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products.
o Develop and implement supplier quality management standards, evaluate, audit, and manage supplier performance to ensure stable incoming material quality.
o Collaborate with third-party testing agencies to ensure products comply with relevant regulations and specific customer testing requirements.
5. Quality Issue Analysis, Improvement, and Reporting:
o Be responsible for collecting and analyzing quality data from production processes and customer feedback to identify major quality issues, trends, and root causes.
o Lead or participate in quality issue analysis meetings (e.g., QIA/RCA), utilizing statistical tools and methods (e.g., SPC, DOE, FMEA) to determine root causes.
o Develop and drive the implementation of quality improvement plans, track improvement effectiveness, and regularly report quality status and progress to management.
6. Team Management and Development:
o Manage the quality team, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and team building, to foster a high-performing quality management team.
o Enhance the professional skills of team members, particularly in understanding knitting processes, fashion trends, quality management methodologies, and specific customer requirements.
o Actively foster a culture of quality involving all employees, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Educational Background:
o Bachelor's degree or above in Textile Engineering, Material Science, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Fashion Management, or related fields.
2. Work Experience:
o Minimum 5-8 years of quality management experience in the knitting industry (specifically in shoe uppers, bags, or fashion accessories).
o Experience in quality management within the fashion industry, with a deep understanding of how fashion trends impact product quality.
o Proven success in establishing, optimizing, and managing quality management systems.
o Experience in managing quality teams.
3. Professional Skills:
o Proficiency in knitting processes (shoe uppers, bags), familiar with the impact of different yarns, knit structures, post-finishing, and sewing on quality.
o Familiarity with fashion industry quality standards, design concepts, material properties, and consumer preferences.
o Proficient in various quality management tools and methods (e.g., ISO 9001, SPC, FMEA, RCA, 8D).
o Excellent skills in quality inspection, testing, data analysis, and problem-solving.
o Familiarity with domestic and international product quality regulations and customer quality requirements.
4. Soft Skills:
o Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
