1. Quality System & Standardization
Policy Development: Formulate, implement, and refine quality management systems (QMS), SOPs, and testing protocols to ensure products meet internal and external specifications.
Process Audit: Regularly review manufacturing and inspection processes to identify gaps, enforce compliance, and optimize operational efficiency.
2. Quality Inspection & Operations
In-Line & Final Testing: Oversee quality checks across all stages, including incoming raw materials, in-process assembly, and finished product releases.
Calibration & Lab Management: Ensure all measuring, testing, and laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and certified.
3. Team Leadership & People Management
Supervision & Mentorship: Direct, guide, and evaluate the performance of QC supervisors, inspectors, and laboratory technicians.
Capacity Building: Conduct ongoing training programs on quality standards, safety measures, and advanced testing techniques for the team.
4. Continuous Improvement & Root Cause Analysis
Defect Investigation: Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for non-conforming products, internal failures, or customer complaints.
CAPA Implementation: Execute Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring quality issues and track their effectiveness.
5. Vendor & Supply Chain Quality
Supplier Quality Assurance: Collaborate with procurement to evaluate supplier quality performance and perform supplier audits.
Material Discrepancies: Work directly with vendors to resolve defect issues regarding raw materials or components.
6. Audits, Compliance & Reporting
Audit Leadership: Prepare for and lead internal, client, and third-party regulatory audits (e.g., ISO 9001).
Metrics & Analytics: Track key quality indicators (KPIs, yield rates, scrap rates) and present periodic quality reports to senior leadership.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Certifications (Preferred): Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of quality control standards (e.g., ISO 9001), statistical process control (SPC), measurement tools, and failure analysis techniques.
Soft Skills: Outstanding leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Languages: Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken).
