Quality Control (QC) Supervisor

Our client, a 100% Japanese-owned manufacturing company, is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Quality Control (QC) Supervisor. The job responsibilities and benefits are as follows:

• · Supervise daily quality control activities, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Outgoing Quality Control (OQC).
• · Ensure products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and company requirements.
• · Monitor quality performance and analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• · Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• · Handle customer complaints and coordinate with related departments to ensure timely resolution.
• · Lead quality improvement activities using QC tools, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodologies.
• · Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, customer requirements, and company quality procedures.
• · Manage, train, coach, and evaluate QC inspectors and technicians.
• · Coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, Production Planning (PPC), Purchasing, and suppliers to improve product quality.
• · Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management.
• · Support internal audits, customer audits, and external certification audits.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Quality Control experience in manufacturing, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in electronics, automotive, electrical equipment, precision manufacturing, or Japanese manufacturing companies is preferred.
• Good knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949) and quality tools (7 QC Tools, FMEA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, CAPA, etc.).
• Able to read engineering drawings and use measuring/inspection equipment.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Business-level English (spoken and written).
• Responsible, detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement (Kaizen).
• Experience in motor manufacturing, customer quality management, Lean, Six Sigma, or ISO Internal Auditor certification is an advantage.
