ROBOT AUTOMATION ENGINEER

JOB PURPOSE

• To ensure stable operation of robotic systems and to drive automation projects from concept and design through installation, commissioning, and mass production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Program and develop automated systems and processes to optimize manufacturing operations, improve productivity, and enhance process stability.
• Develop, integrate, and implement control systems and robotic automation solutions to meet production requirements.
• Program and configure software for industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to industrial automation systems, robotics, PLCs, and control equipment.
• Optimize robot programs, control parameters, and automated processes to improve cycle time, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to implement automation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the commissioning, installation, testing, and validation of new robotic and automated equipment.
• Maintain and update automation programs, system configurations, and technical documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of PLC, Kuka Robots, Yaskawa robots, and other industrial automation systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and safety protocols applicable to industrial automation systems.
