SUMMARY:

- The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for leading the commercial strategy, revenue generation, and market positioning of Oakwood Residence Saigon and RichLane Residences.

- This role requires a commercial leader who can balance revenue growth, rate integrity, and demand diversification across two distinct but complementary assets.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead the overall commercial strategy across both properties, ensuring alignment with budget, rate grid, and owner expectations

- Drive revenue quality, not just volume; focusing on ADR, channel mix, and profitability

- Deliver against key metrics:

  • Revenue vs Budget
  • ADR / RevPAR / RGI
  • Segment mix (SS vs LS)

- Own and drive performance of key accounts and top producers

- Ensure clear account strategy, production tracking, and conversion accountability

- Draw up the hotel sales and marketing related activities and strategic planning

- To be responsible for the regular review, update and training of staff

- To monitor and supervise the gathering of marketing statistics, current market trends and implement strategies according to statistical analysis.

- Champion RFP production and submissions

- To comprise monthly SMR report, sales highlight summary of all segmentations, sales activities, competitor analysis, and market share analysis.

- Assist GM with Budgets, Rate Grids and Owner Presentation

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To identify business potential and upkeep close contact with former and potential clients through personal visits, phone calls and correspondences in view of contract signing with them.

- To recommend the solutions and strategies to further improve the sales performance.

- To ensure that the sales team meets client requirement and the service offered to them corresponds effectively to their requests.

- To draw up together with the sales team and concerned departments regarding sales promotion and packages.

- To maintain regular contacts with the clients and report any adverse comments to the management for rectification.

- To train sales team about the hotel special promotions and advertising schedule.

- To acquire extensive product knowledge, its strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats as against key competitors.

- To monitor and analyze the hotel’s key competitors regarding prices, services and facilities offered on a regular basis.

- To organize and attend trade shows or undertake sales trips.

- To maintain key accounts and develop new business opportunities for the hotel through active supervision and sales coverage with designated sales personnel.

HUMAN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Build a high-performing, accountable sales team

- To set clear sales targets linked to revenue, conversion, and account production

- Actively manage performance, develop top performance and address underperformance

- To foster an environment that encourages team members to share new ideas for hotel and department improvement

- To ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are provided to staff in order to function efficiently

- To conduct weekly and monthly meeting with the sales team and related departments for job follow up and information dissemination purposes

- To coordinate functions and activities with other departments professionally

- To coordinate with Asset team for proper approvals for all leases

RELATIONS:

- He/She is directly responsible to the GM and will liaise closely with the reservation, sales team, BQ sales.

- He/She maintains and develops fruitful relationship with existing and potential clients, suppliers and working colleagues.

REPLACEMENT AND TEMPORARY MISSIONS:

- To perform other related duties and special projects as required by General Manager.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

  • Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management or Sales/Marketing preferred.
  • Minimum 5–7 years in Sales & Marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in serviced residences / hotels / mixed-use hospitality preferred
  • Fluent in English; additional Asian language capabilities are an advantage
  • Proven track record in driving revenue performance and market development
