SENIOR AQE & Lab ENGINEER

·       Act as the quality representative in cross-functional New Product Development (NPD) teams from concept through to production launch

• Lead Quality deliverables such as Process Control Plan, and MSA, SPC etc activities for new products and processes in new project.
• Review specifications and drawings to ensure quality requirements are clearly understood and incorporated into the quality plan.
• Plan and oversee Engineering Build (EB) and Qualification Build (QB) activities identify process and production risk and coordinate with cross-functional team to resolve quality-related issues prior to MP
• Ensure all test and inspection data are documented, reviewed, and approved before each build milestone.
• Develop, review, and approve test methods, work instructions (WIs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the lab.
• Ensure testing activities comply with relevant standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO).
• Train and mentor junior lab engineers/technicians on proper test execution, equipment operation, and data interpretation

• Education: bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in manufacturing (metal/tape/hand tool industry is a plus
• Technical Skills:

Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.

Familiarity with drawing interpretation.
Experience with FAI and CPK studies and data analysis, DOE
Basic understanding of lab tests (hardness, coating thickness, etc.)

Six Sigma Green Belt, or IATF 16949 internal auditor certification is an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
