- Monitor and ensure adherence to local, national EHS laws and regulations.
- Maintain all required permits, licenses, and documentation.

- Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments regularly for both UPL and ALS site.
- Develop and implement safety programs, emergency response plans, and environmental initiatives.

- Organize EHS training sessions for employees and contractors.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Incident Management
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents.
- Prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Audits & Inspections
- Perform regular workplace inspections and audits.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Sustainability & Environmental Management
- Monitor waste management, emissions, and resource usage.
- Drive initiatives to reduce environmental footprint.
KPIs & Performance Metrics:
- TRFR = 0 and Zero Lost Time Injuries (LTI) per year.
- 100% compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and company EHS requirements.
- 100% completion of mandatory EHS training for employees and contractors as per the annual training plan.
- Reduction in environmental impact, including measurable improvement in:
+ Waste generation (% reduction)
+ Energy consumption (% reduction)
+ Water usage / ETP load (% reduction), where applicable
- Safety performance indicators consistently meeting targets, including:
+ Safety Observations (SO)
+ Near Miss (NM) reporting
+ First Aid cases
+ Timely closure of corrective and preventive actions
