Senior EHS Executive/ EHS Assistant Manager

1. Compliance & Regulations
   • Monitor and ensure adherence to local, national EHS laws and regulations.
   • Maintain all required permits, licenses, and documentation.
   • Provide regular updates on regulatory and legal requirements to relevant departments to ensure compliance.
2. Risk Assessment & Safety Programs
   • Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments regularly for both UPL and ALS site.
   • Develop and implement safety programs, emergency response plans, and environmental initiatives.
3. Training & Awareness
   • Organize EHS training sessions for employees and contractors.
   • Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
4. Incident Management
   • Investigate accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents.
   • Prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
5. Audits & Inspections
   • Perform regular workplace inspections and audits.
   • Ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
6. Sustainability & Environmental Management
   • Monitor waste management, emissions, and resource usage.
   • Drive initiatives to reduce environmental footprint.

KPIs & Performance Metrics:

• TRFR = 0 and Zero Lost Time Injuries (LTI) per year.
• 100% compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and company EHS requirements.
• 100% completion of mandatory EHS training for employees and contractors as per the annual training plan.
• Reduction in environmental impact, including measurable improvement in:

+ Waste generation (% reduction)

+ Energy consumption (% reduction)

+ Water usage / ETP load (% reduction), where applicable

• Safety performance indicators consistently meeting targets, including:

+ Safety Observations (SO)

+ Near Miss (NM) reporting

+ First Aid cases

+ Timely closure of corrective and preventive actions

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Chemical, Agrochemical, or related field.
• Knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 preferred).
• Strong analytical, English communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead safety programs and influence organizational culture.
• Minimum 2–3 years in EHS roles within manufacturing or industrial environments.
