• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth. This includes identifying new market opportunities and expanding business with current customers.
• Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Analyse market trends, customer needs and competitive products to provide insights into product development and pricing strategies.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in the food ingredients industry or the food processing sector.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align product offerings and efficiently address customer needs.
• Lead customer presentations, product demonstrations and contract negotiations.
• Prepare monthly sales reports, including market intelligence and insights into sales pipeline activity.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 – 5 years of relevant working experience in the B2B food ingredients industry or food processing sector.
• Basic understanding of food processing and ingredient applications. Experience in technical sales or application support is an added advantage.
• Ability to manage sales pipelines and follow up consistently.
• Required skills: Value-selling, negotiation, communication, and analytical thinking.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
