Test Development Engineer (Electronics)

Analysis of customer and production team requirements and consulting for new test system

Support in calculation of customer and production team development testing projects

Design and development new test system

Support production team and customer to run new test system (Initial operation and verification of the new test system)

Perform DFT (Design for Test) Analysis and testability reviews for PCBA and Boxbuild

Optimize Test Cycle Time and analyze False Fail/Yield data to improve tester efficiency, coverage...

Communication with the customer/ Sub-project management

Responsible for development of test electronics system for customers (on a contract basis)

Development test system according to the customer requirements and according to standards (state of the art)

Design reviews/ Project controlling (cost, timeline)

Documentation for all phases of projects (requirements, design specifications, verification, etc.)

Any other duties as and when required by Head of Engineering Services

- Experience in HW development or PCB design (min. 1 years) in the industrial field

- Proficiency in NI LabVIEW, TestStand, Python or C# for automation.

- Results-oriented, flexibility and traveling availability

- Passionate customer focus/Team player

- Enthusiasm in helping to build-up a new design team in our plant together with an existing Swiss team

- Comprehensive electronics knowledge in different fields (analog and digital circuits, embedded systems, Arduino, NI LabVIEW…)

- Advanced knowledge in schematic design

- Knowledge of product development processes

- (Basic) experience in firmware driver development

- Knowledge of electronics measuring and test equipment

- Advanced in English
