We are looking for a talented technician specializing in 3D design and drafting to join our team. The main responsibilities include creating detailed drafts for reports, accurately modeling parts from point clouds, and collaborating with various 3D scanners. Key Responsibilities:
Produce detailed drafts that comply with the required standards and specifications for technical reports.
Perform 3D modeling of parts using point clouds from various scanning sources.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure model accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Work with different 3D scanners to ensure precise data acquisition.
Job Requirement
Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or other related fields.
Experience: experience in 3D design and drafting, ideally within a technical or industrial environment.
Proficiency in English (fluent) and/or French (beginner to intermediate level) to effectively communicate with the team.
Proven experience in 3D design and drafting, ideally in a technical environment.
Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as [AutoCAD, SolidWorks].
Ability to effectively interact with various 3D scanners and interpret the obtained data.
Attention to detail, precision, and ability to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of Spatial Analyzer software (an asset, otherwise training will be provided).
