Oversee day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions and reporting.
Prepare and review financial statements (separate and consolidated reports), including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial data and insights for decision-making and strategic planning.
2. Tax Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
Prepare and submit tax reports (VAT, PIT, CIT, FCT) accurately and on time.
Serve as the main contact for tax authorities, banks, and other government agencies regarding accounting and finance matters.
3. Team Leadership:
Mentor and provide guidance to the accounting team, promoting professional growth and ensuring high-quality work.
Conduct training for new staff to ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
4. Financial Planning & Budgeting:
Manage and control the annual budget and weekly payment plans to ensure optimal cash flow and smooth operations.
Support the Head of Finance in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing input and analysis.
Job Requirement
Key Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Chief Accountant Certification is required; CPA is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3-4 years as a Chief Accountant in the fintech industry or related fields.
Strong understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (SAP or Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
