Compliance Control Staff

Job Description

1. Ensure the company complies with the provisions of law, internal rules and regulations, and professional ethical standards of staff members and functional or operations departments.

2. Conduct regular compliance assessments to monitor the effectiveness of compliance controls, identify risks, and recommend improvements.

3. Analyze new regulations and changes in laws, ensuring the company’s operations adapt accordingly.

4. Offer comments on proposed changes to internal rules and regulations, ensuring that all adjustments comply with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices.

5. Conduct compliance training sessions for employees to promote awareness of regulatory requirements and the importance of maintaining compliance.

6. Monitor and track compliance issues, ensuring timely resolution and reporting to senior management.

7. Perform the tasks related to anti-money laundering (including risk assessment, training, preparing the reports as law requirement,…) to protect the company from the money laundering crime.

8. Other tasks are required by the Director or according to the requirements of the Department.

Job Requirement

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Audit

2. At least have 1 or 2 years of experience in law, legal advisory, or audit in the insurance, financial or related industries.

3. Able to use English at working (both written and verbal)

4. Skills and Competencies:

- In-depth knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and activities.

- Proven ability to assess risk and implement effective compliance monitoring programs.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.
