Our Partner seeks an accomplished Head of Sales (General Trade) with experience in the Food & Beverage industry. This position is responsible for driving profitable and sustainable growth while developing sales presence in General Trade channels nationwide. The job holder will develop and perform strategic sales plans and business development activities to meet the company goals.
Job Responsibilities
Plan, design, develop and implement comprehensive GT sales strategies for new and existing products, encompassing all aspects of sales, marketing and distribution.
Responsible for overall GT Sales efficiency (volume, cost, P&L, distribution management)
Monitor market competitive pricing with objective of optimizing company sales margins.
Take initiative and efforts to develop constructive and effective solutions to any issues in the market.
Develop a long-term plan on Route to Market that will be rolled out in phases to achieve business improvements.
Design distribution approach, channel approach and organize teams and structures to serve business ambition.
Develop high performing sales team (over 130 members) through mentoring, motivation, leading by example, establishing goals for team members and personal achievements. Conducting constructive performance evaluations.
Oversee product launch planning and execution, ensuring successful market introduction and achievement of sales targets.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy effective trade promotions and other marketing programs.
Participate in building strategic partnerships to contribute for the goal of sustainable growth and enhance the company’s reputation
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related fields.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in similar roles, preferably within the FMCG industry.
At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies that drive revenue growth and market share gains.
Extensive experience in sales management, channel development and marketing strategy.
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed strategic decisions.
Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
