Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Patient Assessment & Treatment Planning

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose musculoskeletal issues, such as fractures, osteoarthritis, ligament injuries, and herniated discs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that may include surgical interventions (e.g., joint replacements, spinal surgery, ligament repair) and non-surgical treatments.
  • Offer advice on post-operative care and rehabilitation, ensuring patients are well-informed on how to manage their recovery and prevent further injuries.

2. Surgery & Advanced Treatment

  • Perform orthopedic surgeries when necessary, such as joint replacements, spinal surgeries, and ligament reconstructions.
  • Utilize regenerative medicine, including stem cell therapy, to restore joint function and improve patient outcomes without surgery, where applicable.
  • Ensure smooth surgical procedures and recovery processes, collaborating with rehabilitation professionals to enhance recovery times and patient satisfaction.

3. Patient Education & Prevention

  • Guide patients on lifestyle changes, including nutrition and exercise, to promote bone and joint health and reduce the risk of injuries.
  • Provide injury prevention strategies and education on proper posture, ergonomics, and functional movement.

4. Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work alongside specialist doctors, including physiotherapists, rehabilitation experts, and regenerative medicine specialists, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
  • Maintain detailed medical records, ensuring accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress, and outcomes, in line with hospital standards.
  • Contribute to medical research, applying the latest orthopedic practices and innovations to improve patient care and treatment effectiveness.

Job Requirement

·        Medical degree in Orthopedic Surgery from a recognized institution.

·        Minimum 2 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, including both surgical and non-surgical treatments.

·        Strong expertise in musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-operative rehabilitation.

·        Fluent in English (both verbal and written) for effective communication with international patients.

·        Professional appearance with a positive, compassionate, and patient-centered attitude.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

·        Passion for patient care, continual learning, and ongoing professional development.
