Overview of the position
We are looking for The Production Manager who manages the day-to-day operations at our factory to ensure high quality food products and maximum profit for company. She or he is responsible for people and team development, motivating the team and ensuring quality performance. Responsibilities include cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire factory across all shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages and leads a team of supervisors to deliver quality and quantity of receiving, production to meet customer’s demands on shipping plan.
Continuously improve plant reliability, profitability and product quality.
Direct and manages Production resources to meet and exceed all safety, health and environmental regulations.
Partners with support functions (i.e. Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, etc.) to meet production demands.
Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational and manufacturing problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
Develops or revises standard operational and working practices
Compiles, analyzes, stores, and retrieves production data.
Drives Continuous Improvement within the Packaging department.
Troubleshoot issues with packaging material suppliers, machine manufacturers and raw material suppliers.
Prepare and conduct customer audits and 3rd party food safety audits such as ISO, HACCP, HALAL, BRC.
Review the current processes and look for an area of improvement to reduce direct cost and improve productivity.
Ensure training/instruction is performed for new employees and effective.
Job Requirement
Education/ Academic: University degree: Technology in Food/ Chemical/ Mechanical/ Production
Language/Computer Proficiency: Effective communication skills (Vietnamese and English)
Technical Skills/Competencies: Proficient with Microsoft skills excel report making
Behavioral Competencies:
Demonstrates excellent leadership skills, a strong work ethic, excellent delegation and follow-up skills, must be goal and task oriented and able to handle stress professionally.
Exceptional decision-making capabilities, able to solve problems holistically, superior conflict management and human resources principles and practices
Must be organized and have extreme attention to detail
Work Experience: From at least 5-10 years of relevant experience in production management in FMCG/Food industry, Noddle company / chips / fried snacks
