Job Description

• To ensure that product developed comply with the requirements of MOC and HC materials restriction

• Making samples for customers’ for trial purpose

• Raw material evaluation

• Customer service and trouble shooting

• Running tests on finishing parts with coatings

• To maintain cleanliness of the lab area

• To perform the analytical work Gas Chromatography (GC), Moisture Analyzer (MA), X-Ray Flourescence (XRF), Taber Abraser, Mar Tester, UV roller machines, Hamberger Adhesion, Hoffman Hardness tester, Martindale and other equipments be required

• To perform work on UV roll machines (UV Filler, UV Sealer/Basecoat/ UV Topcoat/Enamel, UV oven)

• To monitor in production the making of the first batch of the new formulation

• Key in of the new formulations to PV system and transfer to SAP Saturn. Have to ensure that product developed comply with the requirements of MOC and HC materials (Hazardous Material) Restriction

• To prepare the Product Data Sheet and generate Material Safety Data Sheet (from Web Application) of existing or new products

Job Requirement

• Bachelor degree or above in chemistry, or other relative discipline;

• Above 2-5 years RD&I experience in wood coatings industry;

• Excellent coordination and communication skill;

• Good problem solving skills and learning ability;

• Result driven, can work under pressure;

• Fluent English in both speaking & writing (Chinese is a plus)

• Ability to read & understand all of chemical materials information such as MSDS, TDS

• Ability to operate all of machines/ equipments in own responsibility scope
