Identifying and quantifying potential tax risks, providing comments on which action could be undertaken to reduce the identified tax exposures
Advise in preparation and declaration of local tax filling, including Value Added Tax, Foreign Contractor Tax, Corporate Income Tax, Personal Income Tax and other tax fillings to ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations
Maintain tax records properly
Provide advice to accounting team and cross functions regarding to tax entries and reconciliation of tax related general ledger accounts
Manage tax inquiries and tax audits conducted by the tax authorities; maintain a professional relationship with auditors
Respond to internal and external tax inquires, and assist business partners with tax issues timely
Monitor and analyze proposed and newly enacted tax legislation, regulations and judicial decisions that impact the company operations and financial position
Provide tax advice/support on various service lines / business projects targeted Vietnam as well as ad hoc tax matters.
Support projects and help define systems improvements, process improvements
Finance Controlling (40%):
Assist in checking financial forecasts and budget plans by collaborating with various departments to ensure budget compliance.
Track and analyze cost to ensure that budgets are adhered to and financial goals are met.
Review financial performance against the budget, provide variance analysis
Monitor cost control measures and identify areas for cost reduction or optimization.
Ensure timely reporting of financial data, including detailed budget reports and budget-to-actual comparisons.
Work closely with management teams to provide regular updates on budget status and financial performance.
Collaborate on the preparation of financial reports for senior leadership, ensuring clarity and transparency.
Job Requirement
· Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance.
· From 5 to 6 years of experience in Tax consultant - Accounting - Auditing.
· Excellent knowledge of accounting tax laws and regulations.
· Experience in the FMCG industry, Big 4 is a plus
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
· Collaboration & communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with both internal / external stakeholders and team working in a complex multi-functional environment
· Leadership skills, ability to make timely decisions and influence distribution partners
· Detail oriented and possess initiative, pro-active & can-do attitude
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel & Power point
