131256 - [HCM] Robot Application Engineer - Factory Automation

RGF's Client - a Japanese company in the Factory Automation industry - is looking for a Robot Application Engineer to design and propose robotic automation solutions, conduct system simulations and technical demonstrations, support robot programming and commissioning, and collaborate with customers, sales teams, and engineers to ensure successful project implementation.

• Working Location: District 7, HCMC
• Monthly Salary: 18M ~ 25M VND Gross

Job Responsibilities

• Work with the sales team to analyze customer needs and propose suitable robotic solutions
• Design and simulate robotic systems using simulation software
• Prepare and deliver demonstrations, PoC (Proof of Concept), and technical presentations
• Participate in robot exhibitions and roadshows (including setup and operation of demo equipment)
• Prepare technical proposals, cycle time analysis, and ROI calculations
• Provide training and support for robot programming, setup, and commissioning
• Act as a bridge between customers, sales, and engineers to ensure smooth project execution
• Research market trends and competitor solutions to drive continuous improvement

Necessary Skill / Experience
・Education: Bachelor’s degree *preferred in Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field
・Language Skills
- English: Business level (required for internal and client communication)
*Japanese / Chinese / Korean: Preferred
・Experience: 2+ years of experience as an Application Engineer in industrial robotics or automation systems,
・Personality:

• Strong interest in robots and factory automation
• Responsible, proactive, and growth-oriented
• Willing to learn technical products and advanced technology
• Motivated to develop skills and build a long-term career
• Able to work collaboratively in a team environment

・Others: Willingness to travel for demos, training, and on-site support

Preferable Skill/ Experience

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Japanese, Chinese, or Korean is preferred.
• Experience in robot setup as an Application Engineer in a similar industry is preferred.
