131913 - Shop Drawing Engineer (AutoCAD) - Construction

RGF's Client - a Japanese company in the construction industry - is looking for a Shop Drawing Engineer (AutoCAD) to prepare and review shop drawings for structural, steel structure, finishing, and external works; coordinate with design, QS, construction, and M&E teams for drawing submissions and approvals; and ensure all drawings are practical, buildable, compliant with company standards, and aligned with client requirements.

• Working Location: Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City
• Monthly Salary: 16M ~ 20M VND Gross

Job Responsibilities

- Preparation of detailed shop drawings from design drawings, covering the following areas:

• Structures Work: Concrete for Foundation, Ground Beam, Column, girder, Slab...; Block wall, Plastering, Stair Case...
• Steel structure work: Column, beam, rafter, Purlin, girt, Wall & roof cladding
• Finishing Work: Plan, Detail Section of partition, Tiling, Ceiling, Door & Window...
• External Work: Road, Drainage System, ...

- Checking shop drawings from sub-contractors for the above-mentioned types of drawings
- Coordinating with relevant departments such as design, Quantity Survey (QS), and Construction teams for the preparation of shop drawing submissions for approval, including related details for both the civil and M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) parts
- Ensuring all shop drawings are completed with constructability aligned with company standards, are practical, easy to understand, meet client expectations, and support good profitability for the company

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Architectural Engineering
• Language: English communication, ability to read and understand technical documents written in English
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in shop-drawing deployment at a construction site
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Ability to prioritize tasks well and able to work independently
• Required to be resourceful, pay attention to details and has good communication skills
