133788 - Chief Accountant - Machinery Parts

RGF's Client - a Singapore company in Machinery Parts industry - is looking for a Chief Accountant to oversee the overall accounting function, manufacturing accounting and cost control, tax compliance, group reporting, audits, internal controls, and accounting team management.

• Working Location: (VSIP1) Singapore Industrial Park
• Monthly Salary: 45M ~ 55M VND Gross

Job Responsibilities
1. Accounting Management & Closing
・Oversee the company’s overall accounting function and monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
・Ensure proper accounting practices in compliance with VAS, statutory requirements, and Group Accounting Policies
・Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of financial closing and reporting
2. Manufacturing Accounting & Cost Control
・Oversee manufacturing accounting, including product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost control
・Review accounting policies and practices for raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and other inventories
・Review and analyze significant variances and accounting risks related to manufacturing costs and inventory
3. Tax & Regulatory Compliance
・Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT, import duties, and other applicable taxes
・Monitor changes in Vietnamese accounting and tax regulations and ensure appropriate actions are taken
・Manage communication and coordination with tax advisors and relevant authorities
4. Group Reporting & Intercompany
・Oversee financial reporting and management reporting to Group Finance
・Oversee the proper accounting and reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances
・Support Group reporting activities, including consolidation and transfer pricing
5. Audit, Internal Control & Team Management
・Manage internal and external audits, as well as tax audits and inspections
・Establish and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and approval procedures
・Lead, manage, and develop the accounting team, ensuring overall quality and timely completion of accounting activities

・Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
・Language: Business-level English
・Qualification: Chief Accountant qualification
・Experience:

• More than 5~8 years of experience in finance/accounting-related roles in the manufacturing industry
• Experience as a Chief Accountant or Accounting Manager in a foreign-invested manufacturing company
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
• Extensive practical experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, and fixed asset accounting
• Experience in consolidation and transfer pricing
• Experience dealing with external auditors and tax authorities
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with ERP systems; experience with Epicor is highly preferred

• Ability to communicate effectively in English with the Group Finance team
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
