JOB PURPOSES:
The Business Development Associate Director, based in Hanoi, is a leadership role responsible for driving the overall BD sales function and transforming our business development team for Talentnet in Hanoi, specializing the MNC and FDI segment. This role involves hunting for new customers, enhancing cross-sales among customers, and retaining critical clients to drive accelerating growth rate for Talentnet.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. BD Strategy Development
- Develop long term business development plan to meet corporate business financial KPIs annually
- Be accountable for achieving annual target
- Identify the potential market segments, new business opportunities for new customers’ portfolio
- Always-on adopt the new market trends, competitor activities, and customers’ needs to adjust strategies accordingly
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.
2. Customer Acquisition
- Lead initiatives to hunt for new customers through various channels
- Define the various sales plan for corresponding channels or market segments
- Meet clients, do bidding/ pitching and present solutions to customers (up to the customer scale and deal size) for a robust sales pipeline
- Build the product bundling and respective pricing scheme in aligned with Head of Business Units to ensure the very best-fit solutions for customers
- Be the spokesperson on behalf of the company in big events to build company brand
- Direct the activities to nurture one company throughout their whole journey for cross sales and upsell opportunities.
3. BD Operations
- Collaborate with MKT for a cohesive plan between MKT and BD to ensure the integrated value chain for efficient new customers development
- Lead the seamless workflow across small teams to ensure the good conversion rate between TOFU, MOFU and BOFU
- Manage the BD operations through CRM system, data-driven and dashboard-enabled decision making.
4. Partnership Development
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with relevant organizations and businesses
- Form the strategic partnership with business associations, industrial zones and hi-tech park for more brand visibility
- Set up partnerships and alliances with local businesses and stakeholders.
5. Key Account Management/ Account Managers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs
- Partner with key accounts to understand their business expectations, their changing needs for more added-value solutions
- Co-design new or customized solutions for key accounts.
6. Financial Management
- Prepare and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Monitor financial performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.
7. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the BD team to achieve targets and deliver exceptional results.
- Set clear objectives, performance metrics, and regular feedback mechanisms.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the team through coaching, training, and professional development initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.
