1.  Payroll & Personnel Administration

•     Preparing legal Labour Contracts

•     Prepare and lodge monthly Personal Income Tax (PIT) declarations with the tax authority

•     Prepare and file quarterly Social Insurance and Health Insurance contributions

•     Liaise with Social Insurance and Health Insurance authorities for employee claims

•     Register new employees with the Tax Authority and Social Insurance Department

•     Complete annual PIT finalisations and file with the local tax office by 28 February each year

2.  Bookkeeping & Transaction Processing

•     Post all monthly transactions into the accounting system; maintain accurate and up-to-date records

•     Maintain and reconcile cash book and bank book with supporting evidence; prepare cash flow statements

•     Conduct periodic cash counts in coordination with the cashier

•     Review and verify expense claims and VAT to ensure they are reasonable, accurate, and legally compliant

•     Maintain the fixed asset register and produce month-end balance breakdowns

•     Prepare and submit periodic tax reports (PIT, VAT)

•     Manage year-end tax finalisation

3.  Financial Reporting

•     Prepare monthly and annual management reports including: Balance Sheet, Income Statement, General Ledger, and Sub-ledgers

•     Reporting to authorities on monthly progress; DPI, Statistics, Labor etc.

•     Set up and maintain the Chart of Accounts; propose amendments as needed

•     Ensure all reports are reliable, reconciled, and submitted on time to management

4.  Statutory Compliance & Audit

•     Serve as the registered Chief Accountant of the Company; review and sign documents requiring Chief Accountant authorisation

•     Manage the annual statutory audit process in full — prepare all schedules, liaise with auditors, and ensure timely completion

•     Maintain ongoing compliance with Vietnamese accounting standards (VAS) and tax regulations

•     Liaise with tax authorities as required

•     Update management and implement new laws and regulations

Required

•     Qualified Chief Accountant certificate under Vietnamese regulations (Chứng chỉ Kế toán trưởng)

•     Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a Chief Accountant or equivalent role

•     Solid working knowledge of Vietnamese tax law, VAS, and Social Insurance regulations

•     Proficient in accounting software (MISA or equivalent); competent in Excel

•     Comfortable working independently as the sole accounting function

•     Reliable, detail-oriented, and discreet with confidential financial information

Preferred

•     Experience in the education sector or a small-to-medium enterprise environment

•     Conversational English — sufficient for management reporting and occasional board communication

•     Familiarity with audit preparation in an SME or school context
